Overview
Skills Commerce is Sialkot's eCommerce hub: professional services for people building businesses online, practical training and flexible co-working space, all under one roof.
Its old website was dated, slow and not built for search, so XCONS Solutions (Pakistan) rebuilt it completely: a new custom design, a new structure, fully rewritten content, and a custom-coded site made to be found by Google and by AI assistants.
The new site went live in October 2026. Every page has one job: show a visitor quickly what the hub offers, and make it easy to ask for help, join a course or book a space.
What this covered
- UI/UX Design
- Custom Next.js Development
- SEO & AI SEO
- Speed
Project leadership
Led by Fakhri Abbas, who initiated the project and guided it from market research to launch. One XCONS leadership team oversees both the UK and Pakistan companies, with dedicated delivery teams in each.
Why a Rebuild
Rather than patch an old website, we reviewed it and found three problems that could only be fixed properly by starting again.
01. Findability
Not built for search
The old site was not optimised for SEO and was not ready for AI search, so the hub's services, training and co-working were hard to find for people looking for them online.
02. Experience
An outdated experience
The design and user experience had aged. Visitors had to work out what the hub offered, which made it harder to turn interest into enquiries, course sign-ups and bookings.
03. Speed
Slow to load
The old site loaded slowly, and slow pages lose visitors before they read a single word. Speed had to be part of the rebuild from the start, not an afterthought.
So we rebuilt the structure, wrote every page again, and moved the site to a modern, fast hosting platform.
What We Built
- 01
A custom UI/UX design
We designed the interface from scratch, with no theme or template. User experience came first, then clean visuals, so every page is easy to scan and every action is easy to find.
- 02
Custom development
A custom-coded site in React and Next.js, hosted on Vercel. Everything is built to order, so it stays fast and flexible, without the extra weight that themes and plugins bring.
- 03
A restructured site
A clear structure for the hub: a services section with eight service pages, training, co-working, a blog of practical guides, and About and Contact pages that are easy to reach.
- 04
Content written from scratch
Every page was rewritten in plain, useful language, from services and training to six practical guides on topics like UK company setup, Amazon costs and sourcing from Alibaba. XCONS wrote the guides and all the content for the hub.
- 05
SEO and AI SEO built in
On-page SEO on every page: unique titles and descriptions, clean headings, canonical addresses, an XML sitemap and structured data, plus answer-ready FAQs written for AI assistants.
- 06
Measurement from day one
Google Analytics, Search Console and Microsoft Clarity were set up at launch, so traffic, search performance and visitor behaviour can be measured from the very first day.
Under the Hood
What is running on the live site today, from its structure and code to its speed and tracking.
Search & AI structure
Every page has its own title, description, headings and canonical address, backed by an XML sitemap of 21 pages and structured data for the business, FAQs, courses, articles and breadcrumbs.
Speed
Hosted on Vercel's global network with cached delivery, server-rendered React pages and images optimised by Next.js, so pages arrive quickly and the site holds up well on mobile.
Tracking & insight
Google Analytics 4 and Search Console show how people find the site, and Microsoft Clarity shows how they use it, with heatmaps and recordings that guide the next round of improvements.
Sharing & polish
A branded share image, a Twitter card, a web app manifest and a matching theme colour, so links look polished when shared and the site feels at home on a phone.

Results & What's Next
The rebuilt site launched in October 2026: a new custom design and structure, fully rewritten content with six guides, custom Next.js code on Vercel, and SEO and AI SEO built in from the first day.
Where it stands
“From an old, slow site to a custom, SEO and AI-search-ready platform.”
What happens next: Search Console and Clarity are in place, so the hub can see how people find and use the new site. The rebuild included the site's SEO foundations and the content, with six guides written by XCONS.
