Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information fakhareabbas.com collects, why, who sees it, how long it is kept, and what rights you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who is responsible
This website is run by Mohammad Fakhar E Abbas Alvi, working as Fakhar E Abbas Alvi and based in Lahore, Pakistan. For the information described here, they decide how and why it is used. You can reach them at fakhareabbasalvi@gmail.com.
What is collected, and why
- The contact form. Your name, email address, the service you are interested in, your website address if you give one, and your message. It is used to reply to you and to discuss any work.
- Emails, WhatsApp and calls. If you contact me this way, I see the details you share, such as your name, number or email address and what you write.
- Booking a call. The Book a Meeting button takes you to Calendly. What you enter there is collected by Calendly and shared with me so the call can happen.
- Analytics, only if you accept. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device, browser and approximate location. See the Cookie Policy.
- Technical data. Like any website, the hosting service sees your IP address and basic request details when you load a page. Your IP address is also checked briefly when you send the contact form, to stop spam and abuse. It is not stored with your message.
The legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry and preparing to work with you: it is in both our interests, and a step you ask for before any contract.
- Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Keeping the site secure and free of spam: a legitimate interest in protecting the site.
- Keeping records the law requires, if you become a client.
Who it is shared with
Your information is never sold, and it is not used for marketing lists. It is shared only with the services that make the site work:
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Resend, which delivers contact form messages to my inbox by email.
- Google, for the email inbox that receives enquiries, Google Analytics, and the map on the Contact page.
- Microsoft, for Clarity analytics.
- Calendly and WhatsApp, only if you choose to use them.
These companies act on my behalf or on their own terms, and have their own privacy policies. Information may also be shared if the law requires it.
Transfers abroad
I am based in Pakistan, and the services above process information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. By using the site you accept that your information may be handled outside the UK, the EU and Pakistan. Each of these providers describes the safeguards it uses in its own policies.
How long it is kept
Contact form messages and related emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and then deleted when they are no longer needed. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner. Analytics data is kept by Google and Microsoft for the periods set in their own settings and policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the information held about you, correct it, delete it, limit how it is used, object to its use, or receive a copy of it. You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time:
To use any of these rights, email fakhareabbasalvi@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. Information about children is not knowingly collected.
Security and links
The site is served over HTTPS, and contact form messages are sent straight to my inbox rather than stored on the website. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords or payment details through the form. The site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Calendly, which have their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If how information is used changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it. See also the Cookie Policy and the Terms of Use.
